Message of behalf of Blackburn, Fauldhouse and Whitburn Board - Pride in Place

On behalf of the Blackburn, Fauldhouse and Whitburn Board; Pride in Place is a £20 million investment over 10 years which the UK government are targeting at Blackburn, Fauldhouse and Whitburn. The Pride In Place programme gives local people the opportunity to shape how funding is used to improve their communities and create lasting positive change. 

The funding, which will be made available over the ten year period from 2026 - 2036 is split into two types:

Capital funding is used for a number of physical improvements within the community for example changes to existing buildings, community facilities, parks, public spaces, town centre improvements and building new community assets. 

Revenue funding is used for regular payments for example running costs and salaries to support activities, events, services, staff, community projects, training, rent, employability programmes  and programmes that help people and organisations make the most of these investments.

The Pride in Place Board wants to hear your views on what matters most to local people.  Your feedback will be used to shape a long-term community plan and identify priorities that will be delivered across Blackburn, Fauldhouse and Whitburn.
